They experienced the cost of manual handoffs every day. 2019 ### Founded & First Warehouse Three brothers launched an on-demand warehousing company for B2B e-commerce businesses, managing inventory for startups like Sendy, Marketforce (YC S20), Kapu Africa, and SUKHIBA. 2020–2022 ### Scaling to 10 Warehouses Grew to fully manage inventory across 10 massive warehouses occupying 70,000 square feet. During this period the team experienced first-hand the pain of manual data entry errors causing billing and operational chaos. 2023 ### Logistify AI is Born After years on the warehouse floor, the founders started running sales order entry, dock scheduling, accounts receivable, and related supply chain work through the ERP systems customers already use. > "We had the technology. They're from our warehouses — the exact cost we paid before we built the tool to stop paying it. 50 internsSales order entry At our peak, 50 college interns spent their mornings reading emails, WhatsApp messages, and PDFs, then typing those orders into our inventory system by hand. Every single day. $100k written offAccounts receivable We extended 30-day terms to our B2B clients and chased every invoice manually by email, WhatsApp, and sometimes in person. By the time we wound down, $100k in outstanding receivables was simply never collected. 700 trucks/dayDock scheduling 700 vehicles loaded and offloaded across our network daily, with every one arriving without an appointment. Drivers signed in on paper and waited outside.
