Short answer

To use the Reorder Report in Unleashed, set min and max stock levels on each product's Inventory tab, then go to Reports > Purchases > Reorder Report, set Stock Level to Under Min and select Run. Suggested Replenishment is the quantity that brings each product back to its max. Select Reorder for a Parked purchase order, or tick products and use the action cog to create purchases, assemblies or transfers. The report needs Core or Pro.

Before you start

  • The Reorder Report is on Core and Pro. It isn't available on Lite.
  • Decide whether you need levels per warehouse. Per Warehouse Controls is in Settings > Company > Configuration. On, you set min and max per warehouse. Off, you set one min and max per product across all warehouses.
  • Turning Per Warehouse Controls off wipes bin locations from all products, and changes how alerts are calculated.
  • Set min and max stock levels on each product's Inventory tab, or in bulk with the Import Inventory Details template (per warehouse) or the Import Products template (global). Products with no levels count as zero.
  • Check each product's default supplier. The report's Pref Supplier column and its Supplier Code and Supplier Name filters use it.
  • Your role needs the Reorder Report permission.

Step 1: Run the report

  1. 1From the main menu, go to Reports > Purchases > Reorder Report.
  2. 2It opens with Stock Level set to Under Min and Order Warehouse set to All.
  3. 3Narrow it with the filters if needed: Product Code, Product Description, Product Type, Supplier Code, Supplier Name, Product Group, Product Brand, Order Warehouse, Sellable and Purchasable.
  4. 4Select Run.

Step 2: Read the numbers

  1. 1Available is Stock On Hand minus stock allocated to Sales Orders, Assemblies and outgoing Warehouse Transfers.
  2. 2On Purchase is the quantity on Placed purchase orders. Parked and Unapproved POs aren't counted.
  3. 3Low Alert means Available plus On Purchase is below the min. High Alert means it's above the max.
  4. 4Suggested Replenishment is the max stock level minus current availability, taking account of quantities on purchase and Parked assemblies.
  5. 5Next Delivery is the soonest line Delivery Date on a Placed PO for that product.
  6. 6Add hidden columns such as Supplier Product Code, Pref Purchasing Unit or Stock Turns from Show Toolbar > Hidden Columns. Stock Turns only shows when the warehouse filter is Global.

Step 3: Create the replenishment

  1. 1For everything low in one warehouse: pick it in the Order Warehouse filter and select Reorder. Unleashed creates a Parked purchase order for all products showing a low alert on the current page.
  2. 2For selected products: tick them, hover over the action cog and choose Create Purchases, Create Assemblies or Create Transfers.
  3. 3Everything created from the report starts in Parked status, with quantities that bring each product to its max.
  4. 4Open each Parked PO, adjust products and quantities, then place it and send it to the supplier.

Step 4: Save a view and keep watching

  1. 1Arrange the columns, then use Show Toolbar > New to save a grid layout. Tick Default to open with it, or Shared to give it to other users.
  2. 2Select Export for a PDF, CSV or XLSX copy.
  3. 3For email alerts, go to Business Intelligence > Targets & Tracking > Notifications, create a notification and choose Low Stock Alerts as the content.

If something doesn't look right

  • A product shows as low even though stock is promised elsewhere: allocations on parked orders still count against Available.
  • A PO you raised isn't reducing the suggestion: it's probably Parked. Only Placed POs count toward On Purchase.
  • No Next Delivery date: the PO is probably Parked. Next Delivery only shows for Placed POs.
  • Nothing shows for a product: check it has min and max levels. Products without levels default to zero.
  • Alerts changed after a settings change: alerts follow the Per Warehouse Controls setting, so switching it changes the results.

Once the PO is placed, see How to create and receipt a purchase order. To read the Stock Turns column, see How to calculate stock turns in Unleashed.

Where Unleashed leaves the work to you

  • The Reorder Report works from the min and max levels you set. Someone has to choose them and keep them current as demand changes.
  • The Model Min/Max button opens the Advanced Inventory Manager (AIM) Modelling function. AIM is free on Pro and a paid add-on on Core (£99 a month in the UK, excluding tax, checked 23 October 2026).
  • The report suggests quantities. Someone still checks supplier minimums and pack sizes, places each PO and chases the supplier for a delivery date.
  • On Order counts stock allocated to open sales orders, so customer orders still sitting in an inbox aren't in the numbers yet.

Where Logistify fits

Logistify doesn't set stock levels, so replenishment stays with your purchasing team. Logistify doesn't create or approve purchase orders, and your team keeps the buying decisions. The Procurement Service follows up with suppliers on open purchase orders, captures confirmed dates and quantities, and routes exceptions to your team. The Sales Order Service enters customer orders that arrive by email, PDF, Excel or EDI into Unleashed as sales orders.
