Procurement Service tracks open QuickBooks Desktop purchase orders and supplier replies
What changed
A new Open Purchase Orders desk shows each open QuickBooks Desktop purchase order with its supplier mail, promises, and drafted follow-ups in one place.
- Vendors, items, and open purchase orders are pulled from QuickBooks Desktop.
- Supplier mail forwarded to a dedicated purchase order address is matched to the right purchase order. Mail that can't be placed waits under "Needs a look".
- A reply that matches the quantity, date, and price becomes a supplier promise. A later date or a price change waits for a person.
- Follow-up emails are drafted for each line and sent only when a person confirms them.
- After a promise is accepted, one button updates the expected date in QuickBooks Desktop. Quantity and price are not written.
