QuickBooks Desktop: the biggest difference
Canals' integrations page lists ERPs used by larger construction and industrial distributors, such as Epicor Eclipse, Prophet 21 and Infor. QuickBooks isn't on it, though Canals says it can usually build a new integration in a few weeks. Logistify was built for manufacturers and distributors on QuickBooks Desktop, including Enterprise, and connects through the QuickBooks Web Connector. It doesn't read EDI or fax, and on QuickBooks Desktop it doesn't set price levels, inventory sites, or lot or serial numbers on the sales order.
Logistify enters customer orders as sales orders, and on QuickBooks Desktop the same service can also record customer payments against open invoices and follow up with suppliers on open purchase orders.
