Esker vs Logistify AI for Order Entry (2026)
Who should choose which
Choose Esker if you are a large company on SAP, Oracle, Microsoft or Sage with heavy EDI, portal and punchout volume, an in-house customer service team, and a wish for one vendor across order-to-cash, including credit, cash application and collections. Choose Logistify AI if you are a manufacturer or distributor on QuickBooks Desktop, Unleashed or Brightpearl and want order entry done for you with published monthly prices. QuickBooks isn't among the ERPs on Esker's ERP connectors page.
Side by side
| Esker | Logistify AI | |
|---|---|---|
| What you buy | Esker Order Management, a cloud module in Esker's order-to-cash suite, run by your customer service team | A managed service: Logistify sets up product matching and keeps it tuned, enters the orders, and your team handles only the orders it flags |
| Orders it reads | Email, EDI (EDIFACT, X12, UBL XML, IDoc), portals, e-commerce, punchout, mobile, fax and handwritten orders | Email (message plus PDF, Word, Excel or CSV attachments), scans and photos, WhatsApp, SMS, voicemail and recorded calls. Not EDI or fax |
| ERPs listed | Pre-built connectors for SAP, Microsoft, Oracle and Sage; Epicor Prophet 21 and NetSuite through partners; it says it connects to more than 70 ERPs and home-grown systems | QuickBooks Desktop (including Enterprise), QuickBooks Online, Unleashed, Brightpearl, Xero, SYSPRO, SAP and others |
| QuickBooks | Not on its ERP connectors page | Yes, including Enterprise, through the QuickBooks Web Connector. Creates sales orders using your customers, items and past orders |
| Built for | Large organizations; customers named include NVIDIA, Suntory and FUCHS | Small and mid-sized manufacturers and distributors |
| Price | Not published | Published: Core $499 a month billed annually or $599 month to month (about 25 orders a day by email); Business $999 or $1,199 (about 70 a day, adds WhatsApp). A 30-day pilot costs $1,000 |
| Exceptions | Customer service reps see the order image and extracted data side by side; touchless processing can be switched on per customer or channel | Orders with no open question go in automatically. An unmatched product, a price that doesn't add up, or an unusual quantity holds the order for your team with the reason |
QuickBooks Desktop: the biggest difference
Esker's ERP connectors page lists SAP, Microsoft, Oracle and Sage, with Epicor Prophet 21 and NetSuite through partners. QuickBooks isn't on it. Logistify was built for manufacturers and distributors on QuickBooks Desktop, including Enterprise. It connects through the QuickBooks Web Connector, so you keep QuickBooks Desktop and add the automation instead of moving to a larger ERP first. It doesn't read EDI or fax, and on QuickBooks Desktop it doesn't set price levels, inventory sites, or lot or serial numbers on the sales order.
Logistify enters customer orders as sales orders, and on QuickBooks Desktop the same service can also record customer payments against open invoices and follow up with suppliers on open purchase orders.
Where Esker is stronger
- Scale and breadth: EDI, portals, punchout, fax and more than 130 document languages in one order desk.
- One vendor for order-to-cash: credit, invoice delivery, cash application, deductions and collections next to order management.
- Enterprise ERP depth, including a certified SAP connector, and ISO 27001 certification for its cloud platform.
- A customer portal and a customer-facing AI agent for order status and self-service ordering.
Where Logistify AI is stronger
- QuickBooks Desktop, Unleashed and Brightpearl, which small and mid-sized manufacturers and distributors run.
- The work is done for you, so you don't need a customer service team trained on a new platform.
- Published prices from $499 a month billed annually, or $599 month to month.
- WhatsApp, SMS, voicemail and recorded calls read directly as order channels.
How to try Logistify
- 1Pick one workflow, usually orders that arrive by email for one ERP company file.
- 2Forward a week of real orders, including the messy ones, so product matching is set up from your catalog and each customer's past orders.
- 3Run the 30-day pilot ($1,000, up to 150 completed tasks) while your current process keeps running, and compare the orders side by side.
- 4Keep going on Core or Business if it works; the pilot fee is credited if you sign an annual plan within 14 days.
