Y Meadows vs Logistify AI for Order Entry (2026)

Who should choose which

Choose Y Meadows if you are a mid-sized distributor with heavy order rules such as pricing, availability, freight and credit checks, run Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, Epicor, Infor or a legacy ERP, and want customer-service replies automated too. Choose Logistify AI if you run QuickBooks Desktop, Unleashed or Brightpearl, want the order entry done for you with published monthly prices, and your customers also order by WhatsApp, text or voicemail. Y Meadows lists QuickBooks but doesn't say which edition or how it connects.

Where Y Meadows is stronger

  • Business rules: it validates pricing, availability, freight, credit and ship-from location against your rules before an order posts.
  • Breadth of ERPs, including JD Edwards, Oracle and legacy systems it reaches through web automation.
  • Customer-service automation alongside order entry, connected to tools such as Zendesk and ServiceNow.
  • EDI output for companies that already run EDI, and ISO 27001 and HIPAA programs for regulated buyers.

Where Logistify AI is stronger

  • The work is done for you. Logistify runs order entry as a service instead of handing your team an exception queue to work through.
  • Published prices: from $499 a month billed annually, or $599 month to month.
  • WhatsApp, SMS, voicemail and recorded calls as order channels, not only email and documents.
  • QuickBooks Desktop, including Enterprise, documented in detail: sales orders created from your customers, items and past orders, plus customer payments and supplier follow-up in the same company file.

On QuickBooks Desktop

Y Meadows lists QuickBooks among its integrations but doesn't say which edition, or whether it connects by API, web automation or files. Logistify connects to QuickBooks Desktop, including Enterprise, through the QuickBooks Web Connector and creates sales orders from each customer's order history. It doesn't read EDI or fax, and on QuickBooks Desktop it doesn't set price levels, inventory sites, or lot or serial numbers on the sales order. Ask Y Meadows to show an order created in a QuickBooks Desktop test file during the demo.

Logistify enters customer orders as sales orders, and on QuickBooks Desktop the same service can also record customer payments against open invoices and follow up with suppliers on open purchase orders.

How to try Logistify alongside Y Meadows

  1. 1Pick one workflow, usually orders that arrive by email for one ERP company file.
  2. 2Forward a week of real orders, including the messy ones, so product matching is set up from your catalog and each customer's past orders.
  3. 3Run the 30-day pilot ($1,000, up to 150 completed tasks) while your current process keeps running, and compare the orders side by side.
  4. 4Keep going on Core or Business if it works; the pilot fee is credited if you sign an annual plan within 14 days.
