Intuit Enterprise Suite vs Sage Intacct

Who should choose which

For manufacturers and distributors comparing Intuit Enterprise Suite vs Sage Intacct, Intuit Enterprise Suite puts manufacturing orders, inventory and pick, pack and ship beside multi-entity books. Sage prices Sage Intacct as accounting software by module, with consolidation across currencies, dimensions and kits in Inventory Control; work orders and MRP sit in Distribution and Manufacturing Operations for Sage Intacct. Neither publishes prices. Logistify enters orders into Intuit Enterprise Suite as sales orders and follows up on purchase orders in both.

Where Logistify AI fits

Logistify works alongside Intuit Enterprise Suite and Sage Intacct. It is a managed service, not a connector, plugin or app, and it doesn't replace either system. The Sales Order Service enters customer orders that arrive by email, PDF, Excel (including .xls), EDI, WhatsApp, SMS, voicemail or paper into Intuit Enterprise Suite as sales orders, with a person reviewing exceptions. The Accounts Receivable Service matches payments from your bank file to open invoices. The Procurement Service follows up with suppliers on open purchase orders. Logistify operates in every region where Intuit Enterprise Suite is sold.

With Sage Intacct, Logistify follows up with suppliers on open purchase orders.

  • It doesn't create estimates or quotes, and it doesn't set lot or serial numbers, locations, dimensions, classes or price rules on orders, or choose a warehouse.
  • It doesn't create, receive or close purchase orders, build manufacturing orders or make intercompany entries.
  • It doesn't chase customers for payment or connect a live bank feed. It works from the bank file you upload.

How is each priced?

Neither vendor publishes a price. Sage's pricing page says Sage Intacct plans are based on the modules included for your organization, priced to your specifications, and asks you to request pricing or a quote. Distribution and Manufacturing Operations for Sage Intacct is also priced on request. Intuit's pricing page says it builds a product bundle and agreement with you in one contract. Its only pricing figure is a ProAdvisor preferred pricing discount of up to 60% off list price, which its fine print says doesn't apply to per-user charges, additional entities or dimensions, or add-ons added after the contract is executed. See Intuit Enterprise Suite pricing.

How do consolidation and dimensions compare?

Sage Intacct goes further on consolidation. Sage's pages describe multi-level ownership structures by period, with reporting books for each level, eliminations and currency translation rules, auto-generated non-controlling interest, and cumulative translation adjustments for ASC 830. In Intuit Enterprise Suite, you choose elimination accounts once from the parent company, and their full balances drop out of consolidated reports. Intercompany journal entries are made from the parent. Amounts in accounts that aren't used only for intercompany work are adjusted by hand in a Spreadsheet Sync download, and those adjustments aren't posted back. Multi-currency is a beta that requires US dollar functional currency. See eliminations and consolidated financial statements.

Both use the word dimensions. Sage Intacct's pre-set dimensions are location, department, project, customer, vendor, employee, item and class, and you can add custom dimensions. In Sage Intacct inventory, warehouse is also a dimension tracked on each transaction. In Intuit Enterprise Suite, dimensions are turned on for you and you create the ones you need. Sub-values nest up to five levels, and a parent company can share a dimension with its companies. Intuit's dimensions article mentions usage limits but doesn't give a number. Intuit Enterprise Suite uses dimensions where QuickBooks Online Plus and Advanced use classes. See dimensions vs classes and locations.

Which is better for inventory and order management?

Sage describes Sage Intacct Inventory Control as tracking stock across multiple locations, by warehouse, aisle, row, lot, bin and serial number, with standard, average, LIFO or FIFO costing, replenishment settings, barcoding, mobile ship and mobile print. Sage lists more than a dozen warehouse technology partners. Its order management page says you enter an order once and the data flows to fulfillment, billing and revenue accounting, with Salesforce connectors and Avalara for sales tax.

Intuit Enterprise Suite's Fall 2026 release notes list as included: serial and lot tracking with expiry; quantity on hand by site and sub-location, with transfers; landed cost; inventory roles and permissions; units of measure; barcode scanning and label printing; and inventory value adjustments. Pick, Pack and Ship, available in the US, turns sales orders into fulfillment orders that warehouse workers pick in a web browser, with no app. Invoicing stays manual, and quantity on hand drops when you create the invoice, not when you ship.

Which is better for manufacturing?

Sage's Sage Intacct inventory page describes kits, not manufacturing orders: you can kit items at fulfillment or stock them as kits, and stock levels adjust when you assemble or disassemble a kit. For production, Sage offers Distribution and Manufacturing Operations for Sage Intacct, which it describes as a multi-tenant, cloud-native ERP solution purpose built for small to mid-sized distributors and discrete manufacturers. Its page lists work orders with backflushing or manual issue, routing and cost tracking, a digital work order calendar, and an MRP run that analyzes all levels of a bill of materials.

Intuit Enterprise Suite has manufacturing orders in the same system as your books. Each order plans a build from an assembly item's bill of materials, shows component shortages that count other open manufacturing and sales orders, and creates a Build assembly transaction when you complete the build. On multi-level bills of materials, Intuit's release notes of 26 October 2026 say included, while its help article updated 3 August 2026 says not supported. See our guide to multi-level bills of materials in Intuit Enterprise Suite.

Who should choose which

  • Add Logistify if your team retypes customer orders, matches payments by hand or chases suppliers for delivery dates. On Intuit Enterprise Suite it does all three; on Sage Intacct it follows up on purchase orders.
  • Choose Intuit Enterprise Suite if you make or ship product, keep your books in US dollars, and want manufacturing orders, inventory and pick, pack and ship in the same system as your multi-entity books.
  • Choose Sage Intacct if finance is the center of the decision: consolidation across currencies with translation adjustments, ownership structures, and a pre-set list of dimensions plus custom ones.
  • Choose Sage Intacct with Distribution and Manufacturing Operations if you need work orders, routings and MRP across every level of a bill of materials, and price both together.
  • Ask both vendors for a quote built from your users, entities and modules, since neither publishes prices.
