Unleashed guide·Updated October 23, 2026
Can ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot Connect to Unleashed?
- Applies to
- Unleashed Lite, Core and Pro
- Steps checked against
- Unleashed Help Centre articles, Unleashed's US pricing page, and each AI vendor's own connector directory or documentation, checked 23 October 2026
Short answer
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Microsoft Copilot can't connect to Unleashed through any official connector we could find. On 23 October 2026, Claude's, Google Workspace's, Microsoft's and Amazon Quick's public directories didn't list Unleashed. ChatGPT's and Grok's full lists need sign-in, and their public pages don't name it. Unleashed's help centre doesn't describe one. Unleashed's own assistant is Evo Copilot. Beyond that, a developer can build on the Unleashed API.
Before you start
- Here, "official" means the connector is listed in the AI vendor's own directory or documented by Unleashed or The Access Group. We searched each directory for "Unleashed", and where the search allowed it, for "Access Evo" and "Access Group" too.
- Some lists are only visible after sign-in. ChatGPT's plugins directory can't be searched without signing in, Grok's catalog and Meta Muse's connector list sit behind sign-in, and Perplexity's public pages don't publish its full list. For those, we checked the public pages and help articles, and the table says "None listed" rather than "No".
- Unleashed has its own AI assistant, Evo Copilot, inside Access Evo. It is read-only and can't be reached from ChatGPT or Claude.
- Only the Account Owner can see the account's API ID and Key, which any outside connection would need.
Which AI assistants have an official Unleashed connector
| Assistant | Official Unleashed or Access Evo connector? | Where we checked |
|---|---|---|
| ChatGPT (OpenAI) | None listed | ChatGPT plugins directory, chatgpt.com/plugins: the public page shows categories only and asks you to sign in before you can search. None of the plugins it names is Unleashed |
| Claude (Anthropic) | No | Claude connectors directory, claude.com/marketplace/connectors-plugins: no matching connectors for "Unleashed", "Access Evo" or "Access Group" |
| Gemini (Google) | No | Google Workspace Marketplace search for "Unleashed": no Unleashed app (the only result was an unrelated encryption add-on). Google's 15 September 2026 announcement of Gemini MCP connectors names Asana, Atlassian Rovo, HubSpot, Intuit Mailchimp, Intuit QuickBooks, Monday and Salesforce |
| Microsoft Copilot | No | Microsoft 365 Copilot connector galleries (Microsoft-built and partner-built) and Microsoft's connector reference on learn.microsoft.com: Unleashed not listed |
| Perplexity | None listed | Perplexity's App Connectors page (which says 400+ connectors but doesn't list them) and its Connectors & Integrations help collection don't name Unleashed |
| Meta Muse | None listed | Meta's 29 September 2026 Muse for Small Business announcement doesn't name Unleashed. Meta says the full list is in Muse's app settings |
| Amazon Quick (AWS) | No | Amazon Quick "Supported integrations" page on docs.aws.amazon.com: Unleashed not listed |
| Grok (xAI) | None listed | xAI's Connectors docs, docs.x.ai/grok/connectors: not among the built-in or notable catalog connectors. The full catalog needs sign-in |
| Access Evo Copilot (Unleashed's own) | Yes, built in | Unleashed Help Centre, Access Evo Copilot article: read-only questions about Unleashed data |
Unleashed's help centre returned no articles for "MCP", "ChatGPT" or "Gemini" on 23 October 2026. Our guide to an Unleashed MCP server covers what exists instead.
Step 1: Use Evo Copilot for questions about your data
If you want to ask questions in plain English, Unleashed's built-in option is Evo Copilot. Click the white "access" button in the top left corner, select Copilot, select New Topic, and pick the Unleashed skill. It can list orders, check stock by warehouse and flag late purchase orders. It can't make changes, and it can't be relied on for totals.
Step 2: Export a report if your company allows outside AI tools
- 1Check your company's rules on putting business data into AI tools, and which plans are approved.
- 2Export the report you need. Many Unleashed reports, such as the Reorder Report, export to PDF, CSV or XLSX, and Access Analytics dashboards export the current view as a CSV file.
- 3Remove anything the question doesn't need, such as customer contact details.
- 4Upload the file to the approved assistant and ask your question. The file is a snapshot as of the export, and nothing the assistant suggests reaches Unleashed until someone enters it.
Step 3: For a live connection, build on the Unleashed API
A live link between ChatGPT or Claude and Unleashed would be a custom MCP server or integration built on the Unleashed API. Both assistants accept custom MCP servers, within limits:
- ChatGPT: custom MCP server connections with full MCP support are for Business and Enterprise/Edu workspaces on the web. Pro users can connect custom MCP servers with read and fetch permissions only. ChatGPT connects to remote MCP servers; a server on a private network needs OpenAI's Secure MCP Tunnel.
- Claude: custom connectors using remote MCP are on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans, with one custom connector on Free. Claude connects from Anthropic's cloud, so the server must be reachable over the public internet.
- Unleashed: the Account Owner finds the API ID and Key under Integration > Unleashed API Access. Every call made with them counts toward your monthly API limit.
Our guide to Unleashed API access and limits explains the monthly call allowance on each plan.
Unofficial connectors and a name to watch
- Third-party MCP servers for Unleashed do exist. For example, SyncHub publishes a page for an Unleashed MCP server. These are not built or supported by Unleashed, we haven't tested them, and we don't recommend any.
- Searches for an Unleashed MCP server also return the Unleash MCP server. Unleash is a feature-flag product from a different company. It has nothing to do with Unleashed inventory software.
Where Unleashed leaves the work to you
- We found no official connector for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot, so a live connection is something you or a developer build and maintain.
- Unleashed support doesn't write, review or debug integration code.
- The API ID and Key can't be changed or refreshed, and Unleashed can't block a third-party connection once you've shared them.
- Unleashed doesn't keep a log of the connections made through your account's API.
- The API doesn't support partial updates. A request that leaves out fields overwrites them with blank values, which matters if an AI tool writes to Unleashed.
Where Logistify fits
Logistify is a managed service that uses AI to enter customer orders into Unleashed as sales orders and create sales quotes, with a person reviewing exceptions. It is not an MCP server, connector or plugin, and it doesn't let ChatGPT or Claude query Unleashed. Our post on Unleashed orders, quotes and email replies explains the service.
