Short answer

Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES) is Intuit's cloud ERP for growing businesses with more complex operations. It runs in a browser. Compared with QuickBooks Online Advanced, it adds several entities under one parent company, dimensions where QuickBooks Online uses classes, and IES-only Forecast and Projects permissions. Intuit documents manufacturing orders and Pick, Pack and Ship for IES. Intuit publishes no price; it puts together a bundle and contract for each business.

What is Intuit Enterprise Suite?

Intuit Enterprise Suite is Intuit's ERP for growing businesses with more complex operations. Intuit's product site describes it as one connected platform for finances, payroll, payments, workforce and marketing, with a dedicated customer success manager. Intuit shortens the name to IES on its product site and in its pricing terms, and people search for it as "QuickBooks IES". Intuit says it isn't a cloud version of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise, but a new category of software distinct from its QuickBooks Online and Desktop products.

Intuit's product pages list these among what's included:

  • Multi-entity accounting: entities, locations and subsidiaries in one place with a single login, consolidated reports, and intercompany transactions with automatic eliminations.
  • Customizable dimensions, for tracking and multi-dimensional reports.
  • Revenue recognition, fixed asset accounting, and AI forecasting and budgeting.
  • Custom roles and permissions, and approval workflows across entities.
  • For manufacturers: bills of materials, manufacturing orders and build assemblies, FIFO or moving average costing, stock and cost across locations, serial and lot traceability, landed cost, item receipts, and barcode scanning at pick, pack and ship.
  • Cloud access to live data in a browser on any device.

Intuit's Fall 2026 release notes, dated 26 October 2026, added the deeper inventory features, such as serial and lot tracking with expiry, sites and sub-locations, and landed cost. See what's new in Fall 2026, and which of those features have an Intuit help article yet.

How is it different from QuickBooks Online Advanced?

Intuit's product pages say Intuit Enterprise Suite gives QuickBooks Online users more capabilities in a familiar experience, and several of its help articles cover both products. The same pages say QuickBooks Online settings carry over, including banking information, customers, vendors and permissions, and that if you have several QuickBooks accounts, Intuit connects them into one IES account. These are the differences Intuit's own pages confirm:

From Intuit's help articles and erp.intuit.com, checked 30 October 2026. "Not listed" means the Intuit article names only Intuit Enterprise Suite.

How is it different from QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise works from a company file you open in QuickBooks Desktop. Intuit's manufacturing page says Intuit Enterprise Suite runs in a browser on any device. Intuit moves Desktop company files into it with a data-prep tool you start inside Desktop. Intuit's IES help articles on that move, on manufacturing orders and on multi-currency describe these differences:

Several companiesSeparate company filesEach file mapped to a parent or child entity
BuildsBuild assemblies, pending or completedManufacturing orders (Planned, In progress, Completed) that create a Build assembly transaction

One point is unsettled. Intuit's help article on manufacturing orders, last updated 3 August 2026, says multi-level bills of materials with subassemblies aren't supported in Intuit Enterprise Suite. Intuit's Fall 2026 release notes, dated 26 October 2026, list multi-level bills of materials and assemblies as included. If your Desktop assemblies contain subassemblies, ask Intuit which applies to your account. Our multi-level BOM guide sets out both.

Is Intuit Enterprise Suite cloud-based?

Yes. Intuit's manufacturing page lists cloud access for finance and operations, working from live data in a browser on any device, as part of Intuit Enterprise Suite. Its help articles use web menus such as Settings ⚙ > Manage users. Warehouse workers using Pick, Pack and Ship open their orders in a web browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with no app to download.

What does Intuit Enterprise Suite cost?

Intuit doesn't publish a price. Its pricing page, checked 30 October 2026, shows no prices and no plan names. Intuit says it puts together a product bundle and agreement for each business, in one contract. The only pricing offer is a ProAdvisor preferred pricing discount of up to 60% off the list price, for clients of eligible accountants. The discount's fine print refers to per-user charges, additional entities or dimensions, and add-ons. See Intuit Enterprise Suite pricing for what that means for a quote.

Who is Intuit Enterprise Suite for?

Intuit aims it at growing businesses whose operations have become too complex for their current tools. Its manufacturing page says it's built for growing manufacturers that need production, inventory and financials in one system. The Fall 2026 release notes say its inventory foundation is now available to businesses that manufacture and ship. Intuit also names construction, professional services and nonprofits as fits. It offers migration support from QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and other systems.

Where Intuit Enterprise Suite leaves the work to you

  • Pricing: there's no published price, so you need a quote before you can compare costs.
  • Documentation lags the product. Most Fall 2026 inventory features had no Intuit help article on 30 October 2026, and the manufacturing article still says multi-level bills of materials aren't supported.
  • Multi-currency is in beta. It can't be turned off once it's on, every company must use US dollars as its functional currency, and inventory isn't fully supported yet.
  • Pick, Pack and Ship starts from an open sales order and never creates invoices, so someone still has to enter each customer order and bill it.

How Logistify helps

Logistify works with Intuit Enterprise Suite as a managed service, not a connector, plugin or app. The Sales Order Service enters customer orders into IES as sales orders, whether they arrive by email, PDF, Excel (including .xls), EDI, WhatsApp, SMS, voicemail or paper. A person reviews exceptions. The Accounts Receivable Service matches payments from your bank file to open IES invoices, and the Procurement Service follows up with suppliers on open IES purchase orders.
